SUBMISSION

1. Registration & Abstract submission

We invite submissions in the following areas:

Formal Sciences (Mathematics, Logic and Decision Theory, Systems Theory, Statistics, Computer Science); Natural Sciences (Physical Sciences - Physics and Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences); Social Sciences (Economics and Business, Law, Political Science, Military, Security and Law Enforcement, History, Education); Applied Sciences (Medical and Health Sciences, Technical Sciences, Technology and Engineering); Arts and Design (Decorative Arts, Plastic Arts, Performing Arts, music and film contributions are particularly encouraged); Language and Literature, Martial Arts, Design, Esthetics; Theology and Religious Studies, Philosophy, History of Science; Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity.

Registration: To begin the registration process, complete the Pre-Registration Form (click to download) and send it as a Word document at contact@AmericanRomanianAcademy.org.

Review process: All submitted papers will undergo peer review. Authors of accepted contributions must sign the Copyright and Publishing Right Transfer Agreement in accordance with ARA's Publication Ethics.

DOI# assignment: Accepted and peer-reviewed papers will be published online and assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).

Publication: Final versions of accepted papers will be published in digital format, both online and in print, in ARA Journals. Starting this year, ARA Journals will be indexed in several academic databases.

Book of Abstracts: Abstracts for oral and poster presentations will be included in the Conference Abstract & Program Booklet. Download the guidelines for preparing your one-page abstract in MS Word format (.doc)

The submission DEADLINES for pre-registration and Abstract:

Submission of regular and special session proposals (abstract): January 15, 2025

Paper acceptance notification: January 26, 2025

Camera-ready paper reception: February 15, 2025

   2. Paper submission

Papers, up to 6 pages, are invited. Please comply with the following requirements when preparing the paper:

• Title - in Romanian and English

• Author name and surname

• Institutional Affiliation

• email address

• Summary - in Romanian and English (max. 1000 characters)

• 3-5 keywords - in Romanian and English

• The text of the article: format A4, font Times New Roman, size 12, spacing 1 line, references in APA format (see example: How to Cite Sources in APA Citation Format | Mendeley)

The paper will be published based on the declaration (ARA COPYRIGHT FORM) you are submitting along with your contribution.

   3. Poster submission

PhD students, post-docs and young researchers who are selected to participate with a Poster to the ARA Congress are invited to:

• submit a full paper including abstract to contact@AmericanRomanianAcademy.org and

• submit and present a poster during the Poster Session.

• submit an Abstract according to the Abstract guideline with the mention "Poster Presentation". The abstracts will be reviewed for relevance, scholarship and academic integrity. Only one submission per participant will be allowed. Participants will need to be registered for the ARA Congress.

Poster guidelines and requirements:

• Poster size A0: 33.1"x46.8" or 841x1189 mm.

DEADLINE FOR POSTER SUBMISSIONS: Please submit the abstract for your poster no later than February 15, 2025. You will be notified once your poster has been accepted.  The poster presentation will take place at the ARA Congress Venue.
